What we collect

Decipher collects only what is necessary to run the game:

• Your chosen username (callsign)
• An optional 4-digit PIN you create (stored as a one-way hash — we cannot read it)
• Your puzzle answers, scores, and achievements within the game

We do not collect your real name, email address, phone number, or any other personal information.

Children under 13 (COPPA)

Decipher is designed to be safe for all ages, including children under 13. We do not:

• Collect personal information from children
• Share any user data with third parties
• Display targeted advertising
• Allow direct messaging between users

Usernames (callsigns) are chosen by the user and should not contain real names or identifying information.

How we use your data

Your game data is used solely to power your in-game experience: tracking your rank, XP, achievements, scores, and card collection. It is never sold or shared.

Data storage

Game data is stored on secure servers. You can delete your account at any time by contacting us.

Cookies

Decipher uses a single session cookie to keep you logged in. No tracking or advertising cookies are used.
